CoShopHop is a colaboration for a weekend long shopping excursion through Colorado; a self-driven road trip of sorts to explore the vintage, antique and boutique brick and mortar shops. Designed to help bring new customers through your doors and get the word out about your wonderful shop! The last CO Shop Hop was an amazing success, many shops reporting the busiest traffic weekend they've ever had!
Not all shops qualify – please read this prior to registering your shop to ensure your shop will qualify! Shops must be independently owned small businesses (not a franchise or big box store). CoShopHop reserves the right to refuse any shop that does not align with the vintage and curated theme of this event.
Vintage and antique shops include those offering antique and vintage items for sale as a normal course of business.
Boutiques that sell new inventory that is locally made, handcrafted, artisan made etc.
Locally owned restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and brewerys are welcome to join as featured food/rest stops along the CO Shop Hop route!
The Shop Hop takes place over a weekend - shops are encouraged to stay open all 3 days. Friday and Sat are REQUIRED for shops to be open to participate in the directory listing - suggested hours of 10 am to 5 pm at a minimum, however shops are welcome to stay open later. Customer feedback from the last CoShopHop indicated customers would like some shops stay open later and be open on Sunday.
CoShopHop will include an interactive Google Map with participating shops included. The Map/Directory will be available before and after the event online so shoppers can continue to find your store!
Each shop must offer some sort of promotion for the weekend- examples include sales, refreshments, product demonstrations etc. Something to excite shoppers about stopping at your shop!
Each shop must offer a minimum of one giveaway - such as a door prize etc.
Each store will manage their own giveaway in store and be responsible for all aspects of any giveaways etc.
Each shop must agree to follow any and all state or local regulations in regards to COVID19 and any others that apply.
A non-refundable registration fee of $50 per shop will be charged to help cover the costs for advertising (website hosting, paid ads, flyer/artwork design etc). In the event the ShopHop is cancelled due to a State or Federal mandated shutdown, it will be rescheduled, and the registration fee will be applied to the alternate date.
All participating shops must have an active Facebook business and or Instagram page.
Each shop is responsible for their own actions and must follow any and all state, local laws that may be applicable. Shops are independent businesses and not affiliated with COShopHop and understand that CoShopHop is simply a directory listing and as such agree to hold harmless, and not responsible for the actions of any shop, customer, participant related or unrelated to CoShopHop for any reason.
Each shop agrees to promote the event on social media to get the word out! We have official flyers professionally created that you can download and print to hand out and post at your shop. We ask shops to post flyers on the door, near the register etc. Shops agree to post the official flyer on their business Facebook/Instagram pages several times leading up to the event. Advertise your special promotion and encourage shoppers to make your store their first stop of the weekend! When posting on social media be sure to tag @coshophop so we get alerts and can share your posts on the official Coshophop pages as well.
